Service Description
Do you or a family / friend suffer from a severe fear of dogs? This is quite a common phobia and can be debilitating for some. Does it stop you from going places like the park or beach, visiting friends houses or avoiding certain routes to work? Does the presence of a dog make you freeze, become anxious, panic or cry? Do you have a specific problem with a friend or families dog? Through theory, practical sessions and a type of CBT (Cognitive Behvaioural Therapy) we gradually build your understanding and knowledge of dogs and provide you the ability to read and communicate with them. We work through managing your feelings and reactions in a considerate and gentle way. We offer exposure in a variety of settings at your choice and mould the programme to your way of life. The sessions are carried out with and without dogs and are conducted at your pace. We are used to working with children of various ages, families and groups where the need arises. Cancellation Policy
Grooming and one to one Dog Training cancellations must be carried out through email or telephone. Appointments that are cancelled at least 24 hours prior to the appointment will be refunded in full. Cancellations that occur within the final 24 hours of the appointment will be charged a fee of £25. Dogs arriving late may need to be rescheduled. A cancellation fee will then apply of £25. Dog Training class fees are non refundable once the course has begun.
